What’s possible with twitter?
Twitter is an incredibly powerful Tool you can use to reach out to 635 million registered users. With 135,000 new Users registering daily, Twitter receives 190 million page views, and processes over 2.1 billion searches per day
Something to remember about twitter is that these are all Real people, and they aren’t looking to connect with useless people. Don’t use Twitter to spam your link randomly. You want to target the correct people, and Market to them directly. Attract followers by posting valuable content and having conversations with your followers.
Set up your account properly!
Have a profile Picture, something with your face, and SMILE! It’s incredible to think that people try to do this work without putting a Face to the words they post. You are selling yourself as a Brand, Your Company may come and go, but these followers are YOURS.
Have a Proper Name. Something Professional, and something Personal. Your Name is usually a great Idea. Or the name of your own company. NOT the one you represent. (I.e., my twitter Handle it @4Steps2Freedom not @InstantPaydayNetwork or @EmpowerNetworkPartner)
Post a Nice account Photo, and set up a pleasant Background to your Profile. It creates a more completed looking Profile, and creates Trust in your Abilities.
Stay Consistent with your layouts across all your social media. (If your background is always blue diamonds, Keep blue diamonds across all your pages) It creates a Brand Uniformity.

Lists,
Lists organize tweets and people. Lists you don’t choose to be a part of them, other people put you in their lists, and you can do Likewise. Do be careful to note if you are putting them in a PUBLIC list, they will be notified that you’re placing them in a list, as well as the TITLE of that list.
( For instance, if you were put in a list called Marketing Leaders, it may be flattering and or useful, But if your placed in a list, Jerks/Spammers you will probably be offended. also people don’t like being in lists that sound similar to CUSTOMERS, LEADS, and the like. try more appropriate lists like FRIENDS, CO-WORKERS, PEER GROUP, INTERESTED PARTIES. Act.)
Another Incredibly Powerful Tool I use along with my Twitter is called HOOTSUITE
Hoot Suite Is an incredibly powerful Social Media Tool that allows you to monitor several Social pages all at once, I can schedule posts along one or two of 15 social pages at once.
This Program will be covered in detail at a later post, but I really wanted to talk about its usefulness in Twitter specifically.
How to use Hoot Suite to Find quality Followers, Promote Excellent Posts, and Keep track of Keywords, and topics.
#1 Get a free Hoot suite account. I recommend the paid account if you find you need to monitor multiple (more than 5) Media pages.
#2 set up your Streams.
Hoot Suite is organized in such a great way, it allows you to have Multiple Lists of Different Streams. It operates similar to MS Excel, in the way that each Tab contains a different Page of its own Information, while they all pertain to your Business as a whole.
The way I recommend you set up your tabs is have 1 for your Consistent checkups, your Sent tweets, your inbox, your mentions, your Retweets, act.
On a New Tab, Set up Keywords, Open the New Stream Dialog box by clicking on the new stream option from the Tab Bar, Not the stream area.
Select your twitter account and Head over to the Keywords Tab. You get to choose up to 3 keywords per stream to monitor. Don’t forget to use quotation marks if you’re looking for a Phrase such as “Network Marketing” or it would look for Network and Marketing individually.
A few great Keywords I watch are:
“Network Marketing”
“Money Online”
“Work at home”
